Long-term collaboration, mutual trust and systematic media relations – that is exactly what our partnership with LAUFEN CZ is built on. This proved true during the press event for The New Classic: The Poetry of Design by Marcel Wanders which we organised for the client at LAUFEN space Prague.
The exhibition was one of the highlights of last year’s Designblok. In October, the LAUFEN space Prague showroom transformed into a place where outstanding design, emotion and Marcel Wanders’ distinctive creative signature came together.
We introduced the exhibition to journalists in a standalone format, outside the main festival buzz – offering enough space for focused attention, a personal walkthrough of the installation and meaningful networking.
For LAUFEN, we regularly organise press conferences linked to the brand’s key milestones – from Designblok and new collections to technological innovations and corporate topics. This time, we were again responsible for the full organisation of the event: concept development, invitation design and distribution, media database management and follow-ups, production, and on-site coordination.
As we also manage LAUFEN CZ’s social media channels long-term, we approached the press gathering through the lens of digital content as well. Video content for Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook was created directly on site, capturing both the atmosphere of the exhibition and the meeting with journalists. PR, event and online communication thus worked as one integrated whole – consistent and clear.
The growing number of journalists attending LAUFEN’s press conferences is no coincidence. It is the result of long-term, precise media relations built on trust, quality content and a personal approach. Designblok is the ideal moment when this strategy naturally meets genuine media interest in design, architecture and strong creative personalities. The gathering once again confirmed how important the personal dimension of communication is – the opportunity to experience the installation first-hand, feel the atmosphere of the space and speak with the people behind the project. It is precisely this context and authentic experience that are later reflected in the media coverage.
