When you mention KiK, many people still tend to associate the brand primarily with household essentials and home décor. However, KiK also offers a wide range of clothing—and that was exactly what we wanted to highlight in a creative way. We therefore organised a fashion workshop for media and influencers built around the concept of a capsule wardrobe. The workshop demonstrated how just a few basic, easy-to-combine pieces can make everyday dressing significantly easier. And that was precisely our goal: to present KiK as a brand where women can always find affordable fashion. At the same time, we also wanted to strengthen relationships with media and influencers.
For the workshop, we chose one of KiK’s stores in Prague. The event combined styling, a beauty session, networking and a first-hand brand experience. The main theme was the capsule wardrobe—a collection of essential pieces that can be easily mixed and matched for different occasions. Using this concept, we showcased clothing from KiK’s range and demonstrated that affordable fashion can be practical, versatile and easy to incorporate into an everyday wardrobe. The greatest value of the workshop was therefore not simply the presentation of the clothing itself, but the opportunity to experience the brand in an authentic setting. The gathering of media representatives, influencers and members of the KiK team took place in a friendly and informal atmosphere. We also made sure to create content for the brand’s social media channels, capturing the event as it unfolded.
Under the guidance of stylist Michaela Tutko, guests explored how individual pieces could be mixed and matched and how several wardrobe essentials could be used to create a variety of outfits. The beauty zone, featuring professional make-up by Natálie Hostačná and Jana Štrbíková, focused on creating the perfect make-up look for both everyday wear and special occasions. An experienced photographer captured each finished look, so every participant left not only with inspiration on how to work with wardrobe essentials, but also with her own professional photographs. The personalised approach, relaxed atmosphere and opportunity to try on clothing at their own pace helped present KiK in a broader context—as a brand that, alongside decorative and practical products, also offers affordable clothing for everyday life.
Although the workshop was not primarily designed to generate immediate media coverage, it naturally resulted in a number of organic mentions. The guests’ reactions themselves also provided valuable feedback. They particularly appreciated the professional organisation, the opportunity to receive styling tailored to their individual needs, and the welcoming atmosphere.
